Incentives drive behavior…. and good people do bad things.
Reinforcement of these points has been pushed to the forefront in the past week as we see things like:
• Atlanta school teachers altering the test scores of students and thus pushing the standardized scores up to acquire a bonus for themselves. To be fair it’s not just Atlanta teachers and administrators, this behavior is being seen and investigated in districts across the country.
• News of the World....
