Sotheby's Finest and Rarest Wines and The Macallan auction on Saturday 18th January saw the top lot, The Macallan 6-litre "M" Decanter by Lalique, fetch HK$4.9 million (£393,109), exceeding its estimate of £300,000 and setting a new auction record for single malt whisky.
