We know that technology will continually redefine the way we live and do business. New disruptive technologies seem to appear daily. Less frequently, however, we learn of business processes that are so different as to be surprising. On March 18th, I attended IDC’s annual Directions 2015 conference in Boston. My goal was to learn more about 3rd platform technologies and competitors that are important to EMC’s future directions.
