Following a limited release in just 15 theaters last weekend, the Disney historical comedy-drama film “Saving Mr. Banks” opens nationwide today. Starring Tom Hanks as the storied cartoonist/filmmaker and Emma Thompson as author P.L. Travers, the story details the negotiation between the two for the rights to adapt Mary Poppins into a feature film.
