PULASKI COUNTY, VA -

Twenty one hundred employees use machines and a personal touch to put Volvo trucks together piece by piece. At the Dublin plant, the focus is on the customer. Clients are invited to visit the plant to see their trucks being made and talk to the people who make it happen.

Volvo Vice President and General Manager, Lars Blomberg came to the New River Valley from Sweden two years ago and says, "We are very positive about the future. We see a lot of possibilities in the future."

He is talking about a future that includes using some Volvo employees who have excavating experience and want to be a part of building a test track in this field next to the plant.

He explains, "We have a similar thing in Sweden the customer can test ride our products and it has been very successful."
