Universal Music Group and Amazon Music Strengthen Global Partnership to Boost Innovation and Enhance Fraud Protection

Universal Music Group (UMG) and Amazon Music recently expanded their partnership to foster new opportunities for innovation, exclusive content, and enhanced protections for creators, including increased safeguards against fraud. The strengthened collaboration reflects the companies’ shared dedication to supporting, protecting, and advancing the creative work of artists while driving new ways to elevate fan engagement. 

UMG will work alongside Amazon Music to support the company’s growing audio and live-streaming offerings, as well as its investment in audiobooks. Additionally, the companies will proactively work to address challenges such as AI-generated content and fraudulent activities, ensuring greater protection for artists’ work.
