Rymax Marketing Services was asked to develop and execute a special event for the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood Fla., by providing a high-end, unique and rewarding experience for its VIP players. The event was held at the resort on Friday, April 4 and Saturday, April 5. Players who qualified at either the mid-tier or high-end level received an invitation to the event, generating an attendance of nearly 800, far exceeding expectations.
Those players were given access to choose from one out of 20 Sentry® Safes, each of which had a similarly priced gift locked inside. There were also ten higher priced gifts added to the mix for each tier that included prize offerings from brands such as Beats by Dre, Michael Kors, Samsung and Tag Heuer.
All VIPs categorized as high-end level players were invited back on Saturday night to “Crack the Vault”. They received a pre-printed card with an imbedded code that allowed them to pick one out of ten safes that were displayed. Seminole Hard Rock had pre-programmed the safes with the winning codes, and the cards were randomly distributed. If the code unlocked the safe, players were able to collect their prizes on the spot. Of the ten safes, eight had exclusive merchandise bundles valued at approximately $2,000. The remaining two safes contained cash; $5,000, and $10,000, respectively. Those who came back for the event and did not “Crack the Safe,” were all given $200 in Free Play.
