Samsung Partners with Instacart to Enhance the Customer Experience

Samsung Electronics recently announced a multi-year collaboration with Instacart to offer consumers a seamless grocery shopping experience for customers who own Samsung Bespoke refrigerators. The collaboration will integrate Samsung’s advanced food recognition technology, AI Vision Inside, with Instacart’s product-matching API, allowing customers to shop for groceries through select Samsung refrigerator screens.

Samsung Electronics Executive Vice President and Head of Consumer Experience for Digital Appliances, Jeong Seung Moon, said, “Samsung is working tirelessly to enable a more convenient home experience for our users with innovative technologies. The combination of Samsung’s key technology and Instacart’s outstanding online grocery shopping platform will be a great example of how partnership can create a new level of convenience.”

The new functionality will first be available through the 2025 Bespoke refrigerator models, including the 32” AI Family Hub™+ and the new 9” AI Home. Leveraging the power of AI Vision Inside, the new feature will enable consumers to track their food inventory and order groceries directly from Instacart, through their refrigerator, with same-day delivery from local grocery stores.
