QDOBA Accelerates East Coast Growth With Major Franchise Expansion

QDOBA Mexican Eats announced a major expansion in the Eastern United States, signing new development agreements with experienced multi-unit franchise operators to open nearly 90 new restaurants across Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York. These additions are part of a broader growth strategy that has now grown QDOBA’s development pipeline to over 650 committed restaurants.

Key franchise partners in this expansion include The Rose Group, which agreed to develop 35 restaurants and acquired two existing corporate locations in Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey; Doherty Enterprises, with a 27-restaurant commitment spanning northern and central New Jersey and New York’s Hudson Valley and Capital Region; and Cafua Management Company, expanding its existing agreement to add 25 restaurants in central and upstate New York.

QDOBA emphasized that aligning with proven multi-brand operators accelerates its growth by leveraging partners who understand scaling in competitive markets. Most of QDOBA’s restaurants are now operated by multi-brand franchisees, and the company is targeting over 100 new openings per year by 2027 as it works toward roughly doubling its U.S. footprint by 2032.
