AARP Announces New Member Benefits
AARP members can now take advantage of several new benefits available from new and existing providers. The latest additions to the wide-ranging list of member benefits include savings and special offers from Consumer Cellular, Trust & Will, and Red Roof.

Wells Fargo Reflect Credit Card Rewards Cardholders for On-Time Payments
Wells Fargo announced the launch of the second card in the rollout of its new portfolio of consumer credit cards, the Wells Fargo Reflect Card. Available today, Reflect is a no-annual fee1, everyday value card that rewards cardholders for making regular on-time payments — an industry first. Reflect follows the Active Cash Card that launched in July, and offers a new type of value proposition not seen in the marketplace.

“Following the successful launch of our Active Cash Card, we continue to stay focused on introducing cards that offer ‘industry-first,’ unique value propositions that suit customers at all stages of their financial lives, including customers who tend to carry a balance,” said Krista Phillips, head of Branded Cards and Marketing for Wells Fargo Credit Cards.
True Value and GE Lighting Announce Exclusive Partnership
True Value announced a new exclusive partnership agreement with GE Lighting, a Savant company making True Value the only national hardware channel distributor for all GE-branded lightbulbs.

Under the agreement True Value will also provide its customers with exclusive warehouse access to the growing CYNC family of whole-home automation products. CYNC is a premium, GE-branded line of smart home products formerly known as C by GE. The partnership between True Value and GE Lighting, a Savant company becomes effective January 1, 2022.
AptPay and NRT Technology Launch Instant Payout for the Casino, Gaming Industry
AptPay has partnered with NRT Technology and Mastercard to enable casinos and online gaming sites to instantly disburse winnings into a bank account, prepaid card or mobile wallet for guests and players.

This service, called smartSEND, will be available to all land-based and online casinos in North America via NRT Technology and will be launched at the Global Gaming Expo on October 5th. The solution uses Mastercard Send, a global push payments platform that enables funds to be sent securely and in near real-time into any payment card or account.
Five9 and Zoom Mutually Agree to Terminate Merger Agreement
Five9 announced that its merger agreement with Zoom Video Communications has been terminated by mutual agreement. The agreement did not receive the requisite number of votes from Five9 shareholders to approve the merger with Zoom. Five9 will continue to operate as a standalone publicly traded company.

Zoom and Five9 will continue the partnership that was in place prior to the announcement, which includes support for integrations between their respective Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) and Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) solutions and joint go-to-market efforts.
