Walmart Will Now Put Groceries Right in Your Fridge
Walmart is launching a new subscription service, in which groceries will be delivered directly to consumers’ refrigerators, in three cities. “InHome grocery delivery is a membership program that is being rolled out at an introductory price of $19.95 a month. It requires shoppers to purchase a $49.95 smart door lock kit or smart garage door kit, which comes with free installation and one month of free unlimited grocery delivery.”
 
Shoe Station Launches Loyalty Program
The southeastern retailer has launched a points-based rewards program. Shoe Station’s President and CEO Brent Barkin states, “Our Loyalty Program is comprehensive and easy to join, further enabling our family-owned chain to compete nationally. Our prices are already highly competitive, so the loyalty program is an added bonus for customers.”

Cubic Transportation Systems has teamed up with Google Pay to offer contactless transit payments. “Riders will be able to pay for journeys using their mobile phones, building on existing contactless payment systems found in cities like New York. Cubic hopes this system will reduce costs and make paying for public transport more efficient.”

Delta and Marriott have been voted best in their respective verticals for catering to business travelers. “The honors were announced on October 7th and come from Business Traveller Magazine, a United-Kingdom-based magazine that focuses specifically on business travel. To get the results, Business Traveller surveyed its readership across nearly 40 categories including best hotels, best airlines, and best airports around the world.”
