FICO Report Finds Consumers Expect Personalized Experiences
Applied analytics company FICO released a new report examining consumers’ shifting financial behavior and priorities. Consumers today expect financial providers to deliver a personalized experience with offers and solutions that help them secure their financial future. The report, Counterattack: Banks Field Guide to Fintech Disruption, examines how traditional banks need to adapt to deliver better value to today’s digital-savvy customer while highlighting specific fintech examples of tailored services.

The research noted that 56% of U.S. banks and 69% of credit unions claimed that they had launched a digital transformation strategy, and 55% of those institutions claimed they were at least 50% of the way through their implementation of that strategy. However, seven in 10 banks and approximately three-quarters (76%) of credit unions said they don’t plan to replace their core systems as part of their digital transformation.
Hyatt Announces New All-Inclusive Luxury Resorts
Hyatt announced the Inclusive Collection, a new global portfolio of nine luxury all-inclusive resort brands. Resorts in Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection deliver immersive, elevated and seamless all-inclusive experiences.
World of Hyatt members can now enjoy program benefits, including earning and redeeming points at more than 50 Inclusive Collection resorts. In addition to having access to World of Hyatt benefits at participating resorts, World of Hyatt members can register to earn 5,000 Bonus Points for qualifying stays.

H-E-B Partners with Loop to Add Digital Experience
H-E-B recently partnered with Loop to create a digital experience to help shoppers learn about beer and wine brands and make selections in its alcohol aisles. With Loop, the new in-store platform, H-E-B is looking to forge a personal connection with shoppers while also providing product information. The Loop platform is interactive and aims to help guide the shopper’s journey.

H-E-B has announced other features aimed at elevating in-store experiences. The grocer said its newest store in New Braunfels, Texas, will house its first two-story True Texas BBQ restaurant and also debut its Home by H-E-B department.
