Sweetgreen Opens Pilot “Sweetlane” Drive-Thru Concept
Sweetgreen restaurant brand announced that it will be opening its first “sweetlane” concept in Schaumburg, IL. The new pilot restaurant will feature the addition of its first “sweetlane,” a drive-thru lane to increase convenience for digital customers.

To utilize sweetgreen’s “sweetlane,” customers will place orders in advance exclusively through sweetgreen’s digital platform. The space will also feature a round observation window for customers to watch the fresh prep from their cars as they pick up their order.

Pick-up orders may also be placed inside the restaurant, where dine-in service will be available.
Bruster’s Sweet Rewards Recognized as a Top Loyalty Program by Newsweek
For the second year in a row, Newsweek recognized Bruster's Real Ice Cream's Sweet Rewards on America's Best Loyalty Program rankings. Bruster's secured an overall score that was 6% higher from 2021.

With recent updates made to the Sweet Rewards App, customers can now access online ordering for pick-up right from the Sweet Rewards dashboard. They can also add points using their receipt if their account wasn't used during their visit. This was launched in tandem with a brand new Brusters.com website.

Sweet Rewards offers customers a variety of perks including a $3 reward for signing up, one point per dollar spent and a $5  reward for every $50 spent. Additionally, customers can redeem a birthday offer, alongside regularly offered surprise perks.
Kroger Partners with NVIDIA to Add AI-Applications and Services
The Kroger Co. and NVIDIA announced a strategic collaboration to reimagine the shopping experience using AI-enabled applications and services.

Kroger and NVIDIA will build a state-of-art AI lab and demonstration center to expand Kroger’s freshness initiatives, improve shipping logistics and create a better shopping experience in stores through digital twin simulations — virtual models designed to accurately reflect store layouts and other operations.
The companies will explore how NVIDIA technology can:

  • Identify early indicators of deteriorating freshness through computer vision and analytics.
  • Use dynamic routing for last-mile delivery to ensure freshness from farm to plate
  • Optimize store efficiency and processes with digital twin store simulation
Lulus Reinstates Love Rewards Loyalty Program
California-based online fashion brand Lulus announce the return of its loyalty program, Love Rewards.
Shoppers earn points for signing up and on each purchase. Additionally, members can earn points by following Lulus on several social media platforms including Instagram, Pinterest and TikTok, and by signing up for the company newsletter.

Tier-level memberships are also new to the loyalty program, with additional discounts, early access to promotions, priority back in stock notification, exclusive loyalty promotions and cashback for each level attained.
