McDonalds Brings Back Szechuan Sauce as Mobile App Exclusive
McDonald's is bringing back its limited-run Szechuan Sauce as an exclusive item for mobile app orders,
McDonald’s has only sold Szechuan Sauce three times previously, once resulting in supply shortages and outraged fans. The chain is now leveraging to drive downloads of its app, an increasingly important channel for growing sales and loyalty.

The strategy underpins how important mobile channels have become to the world's largest fast-food chain, as the pandemic has solidified on-the-go ordering habits for a wider base of consumers, especially Gen Z.

McDonald's digital sales topped $18 billion last year, bolstered by programs like MyMcDonald's Rewards and its mobile app.
BurgerFi and Gopuff Partner Up in Tallahassee
Fast-casual restaurant BurgerFi and delivery company Gopuff have launched “Fi on the Fly,” a food truck for late-night delivery in the Florida State University area.

This venture is the first of its kind in which Gopuff Kitchen partners with a restaurant. The Fi on the Fly food truck will allow Gopuff to deliver BurgerFi burgers, chicken and fries from 7:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.

Customers who are new to Gopuff can receive $10 off their first two orders and existing Gopuff customers can receive $5 off their next order on the Gopuff app or website.
Robert Haff Research Shows Workers Prefer Remote Office
Many companies are eager to call employees back to the office for good, new research from Robert Half shows. However, return-to-office plans may lead to more resignations.

Half of respondents currently working from home would look for a new job that offers remote options if their company required employees to return to the office full time. Working parents and millennial professionals are mostly likely to quit if called back.

Companies may want to adopt a long-term hybrid work model to appease both employers and workers.
