BP Announces New Initiatives to Respond to Consumer Trends
bp has unveiled a series of new initiatives for innovating the future of fuel and convenience stations to respond to consumer trends and reimagine the consumer experience. Improvements include technology offerings from self-checkout providers Mashgin and Grabano, an expansion of bp’s Price Match subscription service, a new bp and Amoco consumer credit card, and integrated EV charging options.

bp aims to double earnings from global convenience and mobility businesses and increase customer touchpoints to 20 million by 2030.

bp also expressed the importance of giving back, highlighting the company's focus on making a difference in local communities.

Giant Food Offering Free Same-Day Grocery Pickup
Giant Food announced its Giant Pickup service is now free and available same-day within four hours of purchase at all 159 Giant Pickup locations.

Last year Giant eliminated minimum order requirements for all Giant Pickup orders. Minimum order requirements for Giant Delivers were halved and delivery fees were eliminated for midweek orders and reduced significantly for popular Friday-Monday dates.

In effort to expand beyond traditional grocery, in December Giant launched the Ship2Me™ marketplace within GiantFood.com, featuring over 60,000 items across categories including home décor, seasonal items, outdoor and pet.

Pilot Company and Friends Raise Record Amount for American Heart Association
Pilot Company and its guests and team members raised $1,773,232 for the American Heart Association's "Life Is WhyTM" campaign, the largest donation amount since the company began supporting the charity.
Fundraising initiatives included the sale of paper hearts for $1, $3 or $5, round-up purchases to the next dollar, online donations via its website and heart-themed eGift Cards at the more than 650 participating travel centers. The company also featured exclusive offers in the myRewards PlusTM app on healthier food and beverage items.
