Depop Enters the Metaverse with The Sims Partnership

In a new expansion pack, The Sims players can purchase Depop clothing with in-game currency, and will be rewarded for reselling their outfits via a new Sims app called Trendi, where they will determine pricing and promote their listings, mirroring Depop’s IRL experience.

McDonald’s Launches Virtual Summer Camp
McDonald’s will debut a month-long virtual Camp McDonald’s, which offers the brand’s smartphone app users food deals, menu hacks, merchandise and exclusive concerts. Other Camp McDonald’s offers include food deals throughout the month for Big Macs, Chicken McNuggets, fries and more.

Merchandise will be available throughout the month, including a first-week offer of a Retro Grimace Pool Float. As part of the camp, McDonald’s will be sharing menu hacks and deals on menu items.
