Books-A-Million Partners With POP MART to Launch Exclusive Collectibles Nationwide
Books-A-Million™ is entering a partnership with global pop culture powerhouse POP MART to bring a new wave of collectible designer toys to American fans. Launching in September 2025, just ahead of the fall shopping season, the collaboration will introduce POP MART’s signature characters to all Books-A-Million retail stores and the official website, expanding the bookstore’s offerings to include high-demand pop culture merchandise, blending storytelling with collectible artistry in a fresh way.

Donatos Pizza Boosts Efficiency and Customer Experience With Revmo AI Voice Ordering
Donatos Pizza has successfully completed the systemwide deployment of Revmo AI’s voice ordering technology across all 174 of its restaurants. The rollout, which began after a March partnership announcement and an April 1 kickoff, was executed in seven waves throughout June. The AI-driven voice system is fully integrated with Donatos’ proprietary point-of-sale (POS) system and supported by internal IT and Operations teams. Since going live, the technology has managed over 301,000 calls through August, significantly reducing manual labor needs while improving the customer ordering experience.
Donatos Pizza President Kevin King said, “Our focus was simple: deliver a better guest experience on the phone and increase order conversions across the system. Revmo’s voice AI for restaurants is natural to talk to, processes payments securely, and flows straight into our POS. The AI ordering system rollout to 174 locations has met our expectations on both customer experience and revenue.”
The results speak volumes. Donatos saw an impressive 71% order conversion rate, up from a prior 58%, and achieved an industry-leading 99.9% order accuracy. These improvements translated into approximately 26,500 more completed orders during the period, directly boosting revenue. In August alone, nearly 4,841 labor hours were reallocated from phone handling to in-store operations like order accuracy checks, hospitality, and speed of service. Beyond efficiency, the AI deployment addresses long-standing staffing challenges in the restaurant industry. With Revmo handling routine orders and frequently asked questions, human staff can now focus on complex customer needs and operational excellence. The post-launch analytics also provide Donatos with detailed insights, such as call abandonment rates and response times, helping fine-tune the system. Donatos plans to expand AI coverage even further, adding new call types and extending the use of their Centralized Answering Center.
