AccorHotels Combines Four Loyalty Programs Into One

Two years after acquiring Fairmont, Raffles, and Swissôtel, AccorHotels has integrated these brands’ loyalty programs with its lead brand, Le Club AccorHotels. Combining the four programs into one enables 45 million members to earn and redeem points at locations bearing any one of the four brand’s names, which was not possible under the previous structure. The change makes 3,500 hotels in 100 countries available to Le Club AccorHotels members.

The executive director of loyalty programs, marketing, and sales for AccorHotels in North and Central America, Sabrina Lillew, said, “[AccorHotels] has been working toward the integration of Fairmont President’s Club, Swissôtel Circle, and Raffles Ambassadors into Le Club AccorHotels in an effort to deliver heightened value for guests, clients, and hotel owners and [to] open up more luxury destinations and brands for members to explore worldwide.”

The 4 million members of the Fairmont, Swissôtel, and Raffles loyalty programs have been automatically added to the Le Club AccorHotels program. Now, they can use their loyalty perks at hotels in such famed locations as Singapore, Paris, London, New York City, Marrakech, and Istanbul. Lillew said, “The transition optimizes and adapts AccorHotels’ loyalty offering to meet and exceed the expectations of an increasingly demanding clientele and solidifies [our] position as a worldwide travel and lifestyle leader.”

Legacy members of Le Club AccorHotels benefit a great deal. They keep all the features and functionality of their memberships and now receive additional ways to earn and use points. “One of the most common refrains from members,” Lillew said, “was a desire to earn more rewards in more locations around the world. Le Club AccorHotels delivers that advantage with an unrivalled collection of more than 500 iconic luxury hotels.”

In addition, Lillew said that members that have moved over from the Fairmont, Swissôtel, and Raffles programs “will continue to experience the personalized benefits, tailored offerings, intuitive service, and unforgettable moments they have come to know and love, while benefitting from Le Club AccorHotels’ powerful points-earning structure and a significant boost in their ability to earn free nights faster.”

The programs were combined on July 2, 2018. Membership usually renews on January 1 of each year, but members that have come over from Fairmont, Swissôtel, and Raffles will enjoy an extended membership period, from the date the four programs were integrated to December 21, 2019.
