JetAirways Loyalty ProgramLoyalty program partnerships continue to fill the skies over Africa, India and Southeast Asia. Usually, these partnerships often see airlines partnering with hotels, and visa versa. However, a new partnership between JetAirways and Bangkok Airways promises to be somewhat unique. Despite existing in the same competitive space, these two airlines have just signed a pact to unite their respective loyalty programs.

Now, members of each program can earn and redeem points while traveling with either carrier.

Based in Mumbai, JetAirways provides three full-service flights to Bangkok from two domestic hubs located in Mumbai and New Delhi every day. And members of its loyalty program, JetPrivilege, can seamlessly interact with FlyerBonus, Bangkok Airways’ loyalty program, when flying through Bangkok’s network to destinations such as Samui, Krabi, Phuket and Luang Prabang.

This relationship will, of course, also work in reverse as well.

"This partnership with Bangkok Airways will offer exceptional value to our guests,” said Guarang Shetty, Jet Airways Senior VP for commercial. “The new code share destinations with Bangkok Airways are an important extension to the Jet Airways international network, enhancing our product offering and providing greater choice and convenience to our guests.”

The idea is to better engage today’s new generation of savvy and empowered consumers, those that have come to naturally expect more flexibility, convenience, and personalization from the customer experiences they JetAirways Loyalty Programencounter.

"Enhancing reciprocal reward benefits for our JetPrivilege members will enable us to deliver to them a seamless experience when flying domestically and internationally across the combined networks of Jet Airways and Bangkok Airways," added Manish Dureja, Managing Director of JetPrivilege.

Bangkok Airways is also excited for the new deal.

"We are delighted to partner with JetPrivilege, as this will bring significant benefits to passengers of both airlines,” said Prote Setsuwan, Bangkok Airways Marketing VP. “We hope and trust that this partnership will enhance their traveling experience with us."
