Dunkin’ Donuts Adds Local Flavor to the Customer Experience of New European Locations

Dunkin' Donuts adds local flavor to customer experienceResidents across Poland will soon be able to add a colorful array of donuts, breakfast sandwiches, and even loyalty program awards to their daily routine. This veritable buffet of offerings comes via Dunkin' Donuts’ new announcement that it plans to bring more that 40 restaurants to the country in the near future.

In addition to high-quality hot and iced coffees, which have become longstanding staples of the brand, a dash of authentic customer engagement will be added to the menu as Dunkin' Donuts also plans to cater to local tastes.

Offering local menu items that capture the cultural flavors of the country may be an effective move for the brand, especially as more consumers are increasingly seeking authentic and relevant customer experiences. This is also a strategy that Dunkin' Donuts has recently, and successfully, leveraged in other locations across Europe.

The brand has not released any specific information regarding the cultural options that Polish citizens many soon enjoy, however. But, to accommodate local tastes in other locations such as London, India, and the Netherlands, Dunkin' Donuts currently serves porridge, curry doughnuts, and waffles respectively.

"As we continue Dunkin' Donuts' strategic expansion across Europe, we're very pleased to announce our upcoming entry into Poland," said Paul Twohig, President, Dunkin' Donuts U.S. and Canada, and Dunkin' Donuts & Baskin-Robbins Europe and Latin America. "Poland has a rich coffee culture and a growing coffee market, so we feel Dunkin' Donuts' value proposition will resonate well with guests across the country. We look forward to working with the group at Varsovia Food Company, who have a proven track record of success in the country, as we develop the brand in Poland."

Customers across Poland are also expected to gain access to DD Perks, the brand’s popular loyalty program, which gives guests points for all qualifying purchases. DD Perks also works with a traditional plastic card or through the Dunkin' Donuts adds local flavor to customer experienceDunkin’ Mobile App.

Of the 40 plus restaurants slated to open in this region, the first will appear in the Warsaw area.

"We are very excited to bring Dunkin' Donuts’ world famous lineup of coffee, baked goods and sandwiches to Poland," said Michael Motz, CEO, Varsovia Food Company. "We're looking forward to opening Dunkin' Donuts restaurants across the country in the coming years, so Dunkin' Donuts can become our guests' destination for their morning coffee, afternoon snack and evening treat."
