World First, the UK’s fastest growing foreign exchange company, tasted success at the 2013 UK Customer Experience Awards, winning in the Financial Services – Banking and Investment category at an event held at London’s Grand Connaught Rooms last Thursday.

“Great customer service is sometimes seen as a thing of the past, but we prove it isn’t. Every phone call is picked up in three rings, and every client that works with us is assigned a dedicated dealer who’s always on hand to help.”

World First beat Barclays, HSBC, RBS, Yorkshire Building Society and Allen International to the prize that celebrates and promotes exceptional customer service. This tops off another successful year for World First, and follows their success at 2012 National Business Awards, where the company won the prize for ‘Customer Focus’.

The prestigious UK Customer Experience Awards final was held in the heart of London, hosted by comedian Dominic Holland, and was packed with representatives from many of the UK’s top businesses.

World First was founded by Jonathan Quin and Nick Robinson in 2004, and since then, the company has grown from strength to strength, with offices in the UK, US and Australia.

CEO Jonathan Quin said:

“We’re delighted that our commitment to the customer experience has been recognised by this award. We pride ourselves on putting our clients first, and this victory is an achievement that our hard-working staff can be proud of.

“It’s satisfying to have triumphed over some of the bigger names in our category. Especially as we offer the kind of personalised, private banking style service that is usually reserved for a select few top tier clients by the big banks.

“Great customer service is sometimes seen as a thing of the past, but we prove it isn’t. Every phone call is picked up in three rings, and every client that works with us is assigned a dedicated dealer who’s always on hand to help.”

World First offers both private individuals and businesses access to better exchange rates and excellent service when it comes to their currency transfers.
