McDonald’s Provides “MacCoins” for Big Mac Anniversary

Great news for McDonald’s Big Mac lovers. This Thursday, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the beloved burger, Americans will receive a MacCoin with the purchase of a Big Mac at 14,000 participating restaurants across the country. The MacCoin can be redeemed for a free Big Mac starting this Friday. Even with consumers turning towards healthier food options over the last few years, with McDonald’s also jumping on board this trend, the Big Mac still remains an extremely popular fast food item in America. Last year alone, there were 1.3 billion Big Mac’s sold across McDonald’s locations. Eat up, America!

Harley Going Small?

Harley Davidson, the massive brand behind some of the most popular motorcycles in the world, is planning on adding a new motorcycle line for users. The brand is expecting to add 1.5 billion in additional revenue and up to $250 million in additional pretax operating income by 2022. To do this, they will be adapting one of their new bike lines to shifting consumer’s preferences in younger generations. With sales for small motorcycles growing at 25 percent per year, and younger people preferring smaller bikes, the brand will implement a new smaller product line. Traditional motorcycle lovers fear not, as Harley will continue to have all of the traditional bikes of the past, the smaller bikes will simply be a new add-on. The LiveWire electronic motorcycle will also be released next year for the green consumers amongst us.
