Chuck E. Cheese Announces 2025 Brand Expansion Plans
Building on the brand’s momentum in 2024, Chuck E. Cheese is planning to continue to elevate its guest experience in 2025 with the expansion of its active play Adventure Zones, the opening of new Fun Centers both domestically and internationally, and an extension of its $99.99 birthday party program.
 
In 2024, Chuck E. Cheese installed Trampoline Zones in over 400 locations across North America, and has since been piloting Adventure Zones, which combine Trampoline Zones with brand-new playgrounds. This new play concept is also scheduled to roll out to 250 more locations in 2025. With features like climbing, jumping, and navigating obstacles, the Adventure Zones allow children to get physical activity in a safe, welcoming environment.

Additionally, Chuck E. Cheese will be opening six to eight new stores in fiscal 2025. This includes two corporate locations in the U.S., and non-traditional, arcade-only concepts through the country in resorts, hotels, and malls.

Weigel’s Introduces Gamified Rewards
Weigel’s has introduced the Weigel’s Arcade and Coin Catalog, an innovative digital platform designed to enhance customer engagement by integrating gaming elements into their loyalty program. Developed in collaboration with Rovertown, the arcade offers a selection of kid-friendly, ad-free in-app games. Players can earn in-app coins through gameplay, which can be redeemed for exclusive rewards via MyWeigel’s Rewards program. To maintain a fresh experience, both the Coin Catalog and game selection will rotate periodically.  
This initiative aligns with Weigel’s observation of a 66% year-over-year increase in Gen Z engagement, reflecting a growing demand for interactive, entertainment-driven experiences. By aligning its digital strategies with customer preferences, Weigel’s aims to enhance engagement and foster loyalty among its clientele.
