CITGO Reports Strong 2025 Results With Improved Margins and Operational Records

CITGO Petroleum Corporation reported strong financial and operational performance for both the fourth quarter and the full year of 2025. In the fourth quarter, the company generated net income of $268 million, EBITDA of $507 million, and adjusted EBITDA of $442 million, an improvement from the previous quarter as stronger market conditions helped boost results. During the quarter, total refinery throughput averaged 808,000 barrels per day, including 698,000 barrels of crude processing. Crude utilization averaged 84% as the company carried out scheduled maintenance and major turnaround activities. CITGO also increased its total crude refining capacity during the quarter by 22,000 barrels per day, bringing total capacity to 829,000 barrels per day.

CITGO Petroleum Corporation President and CEO Carlos Jordá said, “Despite significant planned maintenance and turnaround activity during the fourth quarter, we finished the year with strong operational performance. As we look ahead, we remain focused on advancing our operational and commercial excellence initiatives while maintaining fiscal discipline.”

Home Depot Introduces Real-Time Delivery Tracking for Building Materials

The Home Depot recently announced plans to launch the industry’s first real-time delivery tracker specifically designed for large and bulky building materials. The feature, expected to roll out by the end of the first quarter, will allow professional contractors to monitor deliveries of items such as lumber, drywall, and concrete with far greater precision. The goal is to help contractors better coordinate work on busy job sites, where delays in material deliveries can halt projects and increase labor costs. Industry research shows that construction professionals spend more than one-third of their time being unproductive due to these delays.

The Home Depot SVP of Enterprise Delivery Experience, Dee Walk, said, “Last-mile logistics for large, flatbed deliveries have been a persistent blind spot for retailers delivering building materials to Pros. The Home Depot is focused on removing friction at every step of the customer experience, and we know that every minute counts on a busy job site. With the new real-time delivery tracker, we’re pleased to pioneer a new level of transparency with technology that will give our Pro customers peace of mind, and free them up to focus on their business and the job at hand.”

With the new system, customers will receive minute-by-minute updates on their orders through the Home Depot mobile app and website, including the truck’s location, route, and remaining stops, allowing them to plan work schedules more effectively. The tracking capability is powered by the new Home Depot Driver Handheld™ application, which sends real-time GPS data directly from delivery vehicles, allowing customers to view a live map of their order’s progress.

Navan Introduces AI Travel Assistant to Personalize Business Trips

Navan, an AI-powered platform for business travel and expense management, has unveiled a new service called Navan Edge, designed to give every traveler access to a hyper-personalized travel assistant. The AI-driven tool delivers the level of support traditionally reserved for executives with dedicated assistants. By using conversational AI, travelers can plan and manage trips more easily, booking flights and hotels, organizing itineraries, and handling reservations through a simple chat interface.

Navan CEO and Co-founder, Ariel Cohen, said, “Travel is a top use case for LLMs. The people have spoken: they want to say the word and let the AI handle the rest. They want a solution that works for them and not the other way around. But that conversational interface needs to operate on top of unbelievably complex infrastructure connecting hundreds of suppliers–global travel infrastructure that Navan spent a decade to perfect to an enterprise scale. Navan Edge is built to deliver what business travelers value most: the confidence that their trip will match their standards and specific needs, the ability to be productive on the go, and the freedom to enjoy the journey.”

Business travel has often been frustrating for many professionals, with delays, outdated booking systems, and limited support creating unnecessary stress. While executives often rely on personal assistants to navigate these challenges, most travelers lack that luxury. Navan Edge seeks to close that gap by using artificial intelligence to anticipate traveler needs, recommend tailored options, and simplify the entire planning process. The assistant can factor in preferences such as loyalty programs, hotel amenities, and travel habits to deliver highly personalized recommendations. The platform also acts proactively when travel disruptions occur. If a flight is canceled, the system can quickly rebook seats, notify hotels of late arrivals, and adjust dinner reservations once the traveler approves the changes. Built on more than a decade of travel data from millions of bookings across over 10,000 companies, Navan Edge is designed to understand the complexities of business travel.
