American Express is celebrating its 33rd year as a partner of the US Open Tennis Championships by introducing a wide range of premium experiences for Card Members and fans throughout the 2025 tournament, taking place August 18 through September 7. On the grounds, Card Members can access the American Express Lounge in the Fan Experience area, where they and up to two guests can enjoy unique activations such as a Hat Patch Bar and Lace-It-Up Station. The lounge also features “Open Tasting Flights,” with curated beverages including the Grey Goose Honey Deuce, Dobel Tequila Ace Paloma, Aperol Spritz, and Moët & Chandon Impérial Brut.
Platinum Card Members will have access to an even more exclusive experience inside the Centurion® Lounge, located within Louis Armstrong Stadium. The lounge features globally inspired menus crafted by chefs Kwame Onwuachi and Mike Solomonov, as well as specialty cocktails designed by bar director Harrison Ginsberg. Access is available by reservation only, with Card Members able to book one-hour slots via Resy on the day of play, starting each morning at 9:30 a.m. ET. Each reservation admits the Card Member plus one guest, ensuring a more intimate and elevated hospitality setting during the tournament.
In addition to dining and lounge experiences, Card Members can take advantage of the American Express Shop at Fountain Plaza, a checkout-free store offering curated food, drinks, and exclusive merchandise, including a Ralph Lauren collection of US Open apparel, hats, and totes. To add further value, U.S. Card Members who enroll in a special offer will receive $10 back after spending $100 or more on qualifying on-site purchases. These benefits, alongside exclusive spaces and culinary experiences, position American Express as not only a sponsor but a key enhancer of the fan experience at one of tennis’s biggest events.

KI Unveils 4th Classroom Furniture Giveaway
KI has launched its fourth annual Classroom Furniture Giveaway, awarding $50,000 each to four K–12 educators for learning space redesigns. The initiative highlights the critical role classroom design plays in student engagement, well-being, and collaboration. By moving away from traditional, rigid layouts, KI aims to help teachers create environments that foster creativity, flexibility, and meaningful learning.
The program supports a range of K–12 spaces, including classrooms, libraries, media centers, makerspaces, and esports labs. Three educators will redesign individual classrooms, while a fourth will transform a larger shared space such as a library. Winners will receive a complete makeover using KI’s flexible furniture solutions, including innovative pieces like Cogni™ Seating, which supports movement and sensory needs, and Clamber™ Tiered Seating, which maximizes space with modular, multi-level designs.
Educators can enter by designing their dream classroom through KI’s Classroom Planner tool. Submissions open September 19 and close October 17, with finalists selected by an expert panel before a public vote. Winners will be announced November 19, 2025, and installations will take place in 2026. Past winners have reported significant benefits, from stronger student engagement to a renewed sense of community, reinforcing KI’s belief that empowering teachers to reimagine their classrooms enhances both teaching and learning.
