Hibbett Sports Announces ‘#ComebackSeason’ For Back-to-School

Hibbett Sports, the sporting good company based out of Birmingham, announced their new back-to-school promotional campaign this week.
 
Comeback Season, their new social media contest, began on July 15, 2018 and will run until July 31st.  Consumers who follow @hibbettsports on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook, use the hashtag #comebackseason and submit their information at www.Hibbett.com, will be entered in the comeback season giveaway.
 
Sarah Sharp-Wangaard, VP Marketing with Hibbett, discussed the platform.
“#ComebackSeason reflects not only coming back to school, but making a comeback from the year before,” Sharp-Wangaard went on to say. “Coming out strong and ready to work hard!”

Prizes include a The North Face Jester backpack and a $500 Visa gift card for the grand prize winner. Additionally, Hibbett is giving away The North Face backpacks and $50 Visa gift cards to nine runner-up winners. The winners will be selected on August 2nd

The partnership and prizes make the contest unparalleled within the marketplace.

Despite kids going back to school earlier seemingly each year, Hibbett is doing its part to make things a little less depressing. The initiative behind the program is to build excitement for the beginning of the school year, which can be difficult for students watching their summers come to an end.
