Care.com has unveiled a comprehensive rebranding initiative, marking the most significant transformation in its 18-year history. This strategic overhaul includes a refreshed visual identity featuring a modern logo, a calming color palette, and authentic diverse imagery.

Beyond aesthetics, the platform has expanded its services to encompass a broader spectrum of care options, such as adult care, kids’ activities and camps, senior living communities, and daycares. This expansion addresses the needs of 86% of parents who express a desire for unified platform to manage various care requirements.

A cornerstone of the rebrand is the introduction of CareProtect, an enhanced safety program aimed at making safer hiring choices. CareProtect offers features like continuous background checks, a 24/7 safety hotline, a new safety coalition, and an enriched Safety Center providing robust educational resources.

In response to the evolving needs of families and caregivers, Care.com has implemented several product enhancements to improve user experience. These include AI-enhanced search tools for more efficient caregiver matching, faster and more reliable messaging systems, and the development of advisory services to assist families in determining appropriate care types. Additionally, a new hiring hub is being introduced to streamline job management, allowing families to compare applicants and create shortlists effectively.
