Boyd Gaming Corporation Revamps Player Loyalty Program

Boyd Gaming Corp. has upgraded and relaunched its B Connected loyalty club program.

This announcement comes on the tail of the company’s recently announced deals alongside MGM Resorts, FanDuel, IGT, and Aristocrat.

The Las Vegas-based gaming company announced Monday that the program is available at the company’s Aliante Hotel and Cannery properties in Las Vegas, and at all other Boyd casinos nationwide.

Matt Ryan, senior vice president and chief marketing officer of Boyd Gaming, said the program has benefits and discounts for cardholders, and customers are able to exchange their cards for new ones split into five tiers, depending on a player’s level of spending.

“With the all-new B Connected, we sought to create a player loyalty program that is truly distinctive and compelling,” he said.

“In addition to the wide array of discounts, comps and benefits our customers have come to expect, we’ve added an incredible selection of trips and unique experiences to appropriately recognize and reward our loyal players.”

“From cruises to tropical getaways – and even opportunities to earn exclusive sports and entertainment experiences – now, more than ever, it’s truly ‘Good to B Connected.”

The new tiers and the number of points needed to reach them are Ruby (0-749), Sapphire (750-14,999), Emerald (15,000-49,999), Onyx (50,000-199,999) and Titanium (200,000 and above).

Points are awarded for play at slot machines, table games, poker, sports books and bingo. Points can be redeemed for free play or discounts on retail purchases.

Awards for the program include quarterly stays at Boyd properties, annual Holland America Line cruises, annual trips to Hawaii with airfare credits, and other benefits at Baha Mar resort in the Bahamas.

Cardholders also can receive discounts with program partners, including Advantage Rent a Car, and access to annual company  promotions and contests, like Pick the Pros and Trees of Hope.

A player can receive benefits for a calendar year once a higher level of play is achieved, but all points expire on Dec. 31 each year and players must then rebuild their level of play.

Boyd Gaming plans to roll out the program at additional properties nationwide in early 2019.
