Delta Refreshes SkyMiles Loyalty Program to Unlock Unforgettable Experiences for Guests

Delta recently relaunched its SkyMiles Experiences program to deliver extraordinary experiences, exclusive events, and unforgettable moments for its members. The program first launched in 2016.  

Now, members can use their miles to access and bid on experiences across five diverse interests, including Sports, Music & Film, Wellness & Adventure, Culinary, and Fashion, and Art & Design, with new experiences added bi-weekly.  

So whether a member wants a spa experience, a night at a Broadway musical, or a getaway to a favorite destination, there’s an experience for every desire and preference. Members can purchase some of the experiences instantly with their accumulated miles, or bid on others using their miles. 

Only Delta SkyMiles Members can redeem or bid on these exclusive opportunities, with some experiences having multiple bidding opportunities, each considered a separate Package. 

Delta Senior Vice President of Customer Engagement & Loyalty, Dwight James, said, “Being a SkyMiles Member is about more than traveling from place to place – it’s about being part of an exclusive ecosystem of opportunities tailored to your ambitions. With Delta’s new SkyMiles Experiences platform, we are bringing even more value to our Members while providing creative opportunities that inspire them to explore, discover, and connect – even when they’re not flying with us.” 

Delta is also expanding its partnerships to bring customers experiences from top brands they know and love. These include: 

  • A Starbucks experience where java lovers can win a VIP tour of the original Starbucks store in Pike Place Market, along with a hands-on coffee roasting session with a Starbucks expert. 

  • A chance to join the Rockettes for a private dance class and celebrate the holiday season with the Rockettes at the Christmas Spectacular®  at Radio City Music Hall. 

  • A chance to bid on four separate packages for stays at four luxury properties, including private dinners and wine tasting at Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach, a mixology class at the Conrad Orlando, dinner at The Bachelor mansion, a chance to enjoy an exclusive performance at Tinashe’s World Tour, and cocktails and a style session with Rachel Zoe. 

In addition to these exciting experiences, members will continue to earn unlimited redeemable miles and enjoy the benefits they’ve come to love, such as miles that never expire, no blackout dates on Delta-operated flights, and fast, free onboard Wi-Fi on most domestic flights, with continued rollouts into 2025.
