Bilt and Amtrak have launched a new partnership that lets Bilt Members transfer Bilt Points to Amtrak Guest Rewards for the first time. Effective immediately, members can transfer points at a 2:1 ratio, giving them a new way to turn rewards earned through housing payments and other eligible activity into rail travel. Amtrak becomes Bilt’s first and only rail partner and its 26th travel partner, adding access to more than 500 destinations across 46 states and parts of Canada.
The partnership could be especially useful for travelers along Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor, connecting Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, New York, and Boston, as well as passengers using Amtrak’s more than 40 other routes around the country. Amtrak Guest Rewards redemptions can start at just 400 points, or 100 points when using Points & Cash. Bilt transfers are available through the Bilt app and Bilt.com in increments of 1,000 Bilt Points, with a 1,000-point minimum for eligible members and a 2,000-point minimum for Blue Status members.
