Papa Johns is expanding its partnership with Google Cloud to revolutionize how customers order and receive their pizza. The collaboration is centered around enhancing the overall customer experience through advanced artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data analytics. As part of the initiative, Papa Johns has established a new innovation team, PJX, which will focus on delivering smoother, more personalized experiences across all platforms, from in-store service to digital interactions.

The partnership is designed to increase customer engagement, drive higher-value purchases, and reduce customer support costs. Key features include a Google Cloud-powered chatbot to handle customer service inquiries and AI tools that help predict cravings and tailor suggestions.

 PJX will utilize a variety of Google Cloud tools, such as BigQuery, Vertex AI, and Gemini, to anticipate what customers want and make proactive recommendations even before they place an order. The AI will also customize the app and website experience in real time, offering dynamic content like discounts or location-based offers tailored to each customer’s preferences and ordering history. Additionally, Papa Johns will utilize a cloud-based POS system to automate key processes and enhance deliveries.

On top of that, Papa Johns plans to supercharge its loyalty program using generative AI to optimize rewards and promotions. The technology will also fuel personalized marketing campaigns, ensuring customers receive timely, relevant content and discount offers.
