Aramark Collegiate Hospitality Elevates Campus Engagement Through Loyalty Program Expansion

Aramark Collegiate Hospitality recently unveiled the success of its newly expanded and rebranded loyalty initiative, now called Dining Rewards. The program has seen widespread adoption, with over 80% of Aramark partner schools participating, along with more than 650,000 subscribers. Dining Rewards has become an integral part of campus life, especially for students who see value in loyalty-based incentives. Its growth reflects Aramark’s continued investment in student satisfaction and community engagement.

Aramark Collegiate Hospitality VP of Student Experience, Theresa Butler, said, “We are always looking for ways to make students feel both at home and appreciated. We first created the loyalty program nearly six years ago as a way to engage with students and campus communities. We know that students love deals, and we’ve refined the program over the years, expanding its offerings to increase the value and benefits.”

Aramark initially started its loyalty program in 2019. Since its inception, it has evolved based on student preferences, now offering more comprehensive benefits. These include exclusive deals through services like Grubhub and Home Chef, bonus dining dollars, celebratory perks, and access to insider dining updates. Subscribers with meal plans also receive tools to better manage their on-campus dining options, helping enhance the overall college experience. The program has strong engagement results via subscriber interaction via email and SMS and has significantly outperformed industry benchmarks. Recent promotions, such as a faculty and staff initiative that distributed nearly 13,000 free meal rewards and a dining dollar bonus campaign that issued close to 300,000 rewards, highlight the program’s popularity.

Delta Enhances the Customer Experience for Reward Program Members With Updated App

As summer travel ramps up, Delta Air Lines is introducing Fly Delta app version 7.0, a major update designed to make the travel experience more seamless, personalized, and self-service oriented. The enhanced app empowers travelers with real-time flight notifications, dynamic updates directly to iPhone lock screens, and easier access to loyalty features. Whether booking a flight, managing their SkyMiles account, or checking gate updates on the go, this version of the app gives customers more control and visibility every step of the way. Delta also plans to introduce Delta Concierge, an AI-powered experience designed to offer personalized support.

Delta Air Lines SVP and Chief Digital Officer Eric Phillips said, “By knowing where our Members are headed, how they interact with us, and what they value most, we’re able to offer choices and experiences that truly matter to them. We’re continuously improving the Fly Delta app to make it the ultimate travel companion, enhancing every step of the customer journey to ensure seamless and connected travel with Delta. As we announced at CES 2025, the next step in this journey will be leveraging Delta-centric AI – Delta Concierge—for an elevated human touch to supercharge the customer experience, beginning later this year.”

Loyal Delta Platinum and Diamond Medallion Members can now redeem Upgrade Certificates directly in the app during checkout. As of June 1, members can also manage their Choice Benefits exclusively through the app, simplifying the reward experience. Plus, a new Uber partnership allows users to link accounts and earn SkyMiles on qualifying rides and food deliveries. Additional features include proactive alerts for missing travel documentation, especially helpful for international travelers, and a new self-service standby rebooking tool for domestic travel disruptions. This means customers can rebook themselves on earlier flights within 24 hours of their original departure, avoiding long wait times or calls to customer service.

American Express India Unveils Rewards Card Promotion, Offering 30% Points Back Through August 2025

American Express India has introduced a new Membership Rewards promotion to encourage cardholders to redeem their points across various channels. The offer mirrors previous campaigns, where the company incentivized redemptions for travel and Pay with Points options. With the current promotion, cardholders can get 30% of their redeemed points back when using points to pay for shopping, travel bookings, card charges, and more.

The limited-time offer kicked off on May 28 and runs through August 15, 2025, and includes popular American Express cards such as the Centurion, Platinum, Gold, and SmartEarn cards as well as Amex’s Membership Rewards Credit Card. Eligible transactions must be made via specific redemption channels like SafeKey payments, the “Cover Your Card Charges” feature, Amex Travel (for flight and hotel bookings), retail store redemptions, and customer service-assisted redemptions. A minimum of 1,000 points is required per transaction, with a cap of 100,000 points that can be earned back during the promotional period.

While redeeming Membership Rewards points for cash-equivalent options usually yields a lower value (INR 0.25 per point), this promotion increases the effective value to INR 0.35 per point through the 30% points-back offer. Eligible cardmembers should have received communication from Amex and can expect the bonus points to be credited by October 15, 2025.
