The addition of both the Williams Sonoma Reserve membership program and the Williams Sonoma Recipes app reinforces Williams-Sonoma, Inc.’s on-going strategic initiative to develop and deploy additional digital channels for content distribution.
Customers who sign up for the Williams Sonoma Reserve membership will enjoy free shipping on standard items for a year* as well as a subscription to the Williams Sonoma Recipes app ($39.99 value) and access to four of the brand’s popular virtual cooking classes ($80 value). Membership to Williams Sonoma Reserve is available now via the brand’s website and costs $99 annually.
The new Williams Sonoma Recipes app provides access to thousands of the brand’s popular recipes and instructional videos developed and tested in the Williams Sonoma Test Kitchen. Subscribers to the Williams Sonoma Recipes app will also have access to exclusive content, how-to videos and tools that assist with building grocery lists and creating virtual recipe boxes to organize recipes and assist with menu development.
The app functionality also allows users to browse recipes curated around a specific cuisine, season, ingredient, holiday, or kitchen appliance. The Cooking Classes section in the app will provide recipe guides and videos to teach users cooking techniques or tips for working with various ingredients.
