Target Takes on Prime Day
The retailer is making a play to compete with Amazon’s sales event. “The effort, according to an Engadget report, will take place on the same days as Amazon’s event, July 15 to July 16, and Target is making a big effort to let consumers know that everyone’s welcome and that there is no membership aspect. Amazon’s Prime Days are only available to Prime subscription members.”

AI Powers Wimbledon
This year’s tournament is the most tech-driven ever, and AI plays a significant role. “In its 49th year, the Championship is using more artificial intelligence technology than ever before to capture the best bits. Powered by sophisticated cloud computing, the tournament now has a raft of data-powered and AI services for organizers, fans, and even players to use. From automated highlights packages to performance analytics, Wimbledon is a hive of cutting-edge technology.”
