Fandango describes itself as “a leading digital destination for all things movies,” and the company took another step toward that goal on Monday, announcing that its Fandango Rewards loyalty program would leverage a new multi-year agreement with 3TL Technologies Corp.
 
The deal will allow Fandango Rewards to incorporate 3 Tier Logic Platform technologies, including Receipt Scanning and Validation, Data Capture and Analytics, and proof of purchase tracking, into the program.
 
Fandango Rewards holds a unique place in the loyalty market: the division is a B2B rewards provider that works with brands to offer Fandango products as loyalty incentives, adding unique rewards into existing programs.
 
Receipt scanning has seen a recent boom as a form of loyalty program engagement. Where consumers used to manually enter data, they’re now able to use their phone to automatically accumulate and track the promotional points they earn.
