Wyndham Rewards Extends Partnership with Caesars Rewards

Wyndham Rewards has announced it is extending its partnership through 2021 with Caesars Entertainment and Caesars Rewards. With this partnership, Wyndham Rewards members can earn and redeem points at Caesars Rewards locations in the United States and Canada when they book directly through Wyndham’s channels.

“As the travel landscape continues to evolve, it’s more important than ever that we continue to connect our members with best-in-class partners and benefits while letting them know that when they’re ready to travel, we’ll be ready to welcome them,” said Eliot Hamlisch, executive vice president of loyalty and revenue optimization for Wyndham Hotels & Resorts said in a Wyndham press release. “Access to Caesars Rewards benefits provides our members with exciting and diverse gaming, hospitality, and entertainment options.”

Members also have the option to transfer Wyndham Rewards points to Caesars Rewards points, or the other way around, at a 1:1 ratio, up to 30,000 points a year. Also, Platinum and Diamond Reward members of both programs could match to the corresponding level of the non-primary program – Platinum to Platinum, Diamond to Diamond – while Caesars Rewards Seven Stars members may match to Wyndham Rewards Diamond.

“Caesars Rewards continues to set the standard for loyalty within gaming and entertainment, including collaboration with likeminded partners to further elevate member benefits,” said Chris Holdren, EVP and Chief Marketing Officer, Caesars Entertainment, in the same news release. “With Wyndham Rewards, our members are able to make their travels even more rewarding, thanks to Wyndham’s unparalleled portfolio of properties and generous rewards.”

Wyndham Hotels is working to keep its customers and employees safe during the pandemic. The brand is working to keep its guests in its mind by pausing the expiration of Wyndham Rewards points until September 30, 2020, and extended current Wyndham Rewards Member level status for all members globally through the end of 2021.

“The safety of our guests and team members around the world is a top priority,” Wyndham said on its website. “We have provided the thousands of independently owned and operated franchised hotels in our network and our managed and owned properties worldwide with helpful guidelines and safety information provided by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) detailing how to identify COVID-19 symptoms and mitigate its transmission. We have also partnered with third parties, including Ecolab and other suppliers, to provide our hotels with access to industry-standard cleaning and disinfecting supplies and have made training available to support our franchisees and our managed and owned hotels in achieving the highest standards of cleanliness, disinfection, and hygiene.”
