1-800-FLOWERS.COM Introduces "Season of Sharing" Holiday Gift Collection
1-800-FLOWERS.COM announced a nationwide holiday campaign to benefit No Kid Hungry. Now through December 24, the company will donate 20% of the Net Proceeds from each gift purchased from its specially curated "Season of Sharing" holiday gift collection to help No Kid Hungry ensure kids get the food they need. For every dollar No Kid Hungry receives, it can provide up to 10 meals to children in need.

"It's hard to imagine that almost half of America's families are living with hunger," says Chris McCann, Chief Executive Officer, 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Inc. "New estimates show the number of children facing hunger has nearly doubled since before the pandemic – where now 1 in 4 children could be going hungry. No Kid Hungry has a plan to make sure children are fed, both during this health crisis and beyond. That's why we've teamed up with No Kid Hungry this holiday season - to make sure kids get the meals they need."

Weld Food Bank, Meals on Wheels to receive donations through Target Circle program
Two nonprofits will receive nearly $2,000 combined through a Target Circle donation program. Meals on Wheels Loveland/Berthoud and Weld Food Bank were selected this summer for the program.
For every purchase a Target Circle customer — a patron signed up for the store’s rewards program — makes online or in-store, they receive one vote to use toward a nonprofit. If a customer makes multiple purchases, they can vote multiple times. The organizations then receive financial donations based on the number of votes cast. Target typically chooses different organizations every quarter.
