Rutgers Athletics, Jersey Mike's Partner on Arena Naming Rights
Rutgers Athletics and Jersey Mike's Subs have reached a multi-year agreement to make the fast-casual sub sandwich franchise an official naming rights partner of Rutgers Athletics. The newly named Jersey Mike's Arena is home to nationally-recognized programs in men's and women's basketball, wrestling, gymnastics and volleyball, in addition to future concerts and events.

Digital Fuel Card Fillip Now Accepted at Husky
Fillip, the digital fuel Visa card for small business, is now accepted at Husky retail fuel stations across Canada.
Fillip is a one-of-a-kind platform that allows small businesses to provide their fleets with digital fuel cards, giving them access to the benefits and convenience of fleet cards through an easy-to-use smartphone app.

“We’re excited for Fillip to be accepted at Husky, one of the main fuel networks in Canada, this early in the game,” said Alice Reimer, CEO of Fillip. “Small businesses have historically been left out of the fleet card pool. Now, drivers will not only be able to fuel up at Husky, they will also be able to take advantage of the rewards available to commercial drivers.”
 
Fifth Third Bank Announces Second Special Payment to its Front-line Employees
Fifth Third Bank, National Association announced a special payment of $1,250 for full-time employees who have provided essential banking services to customers through the ongoing pandemic. It is the second time the Bank has recognized the work of these employees through a special payment program.

“Our employees have gone above and beyond to ensure that we continue to meet the financial needs of our customers – whether it is by phone or in-person,” said Tim Spence, president of Fifth Third Bancorp. “Our team has been working on site in our financial centers and office locations every day through the pandemic to serve customers. That has allowed us to keep 99% of our financial centers open. Our employees’ efforts to keep customers at the center have been remarkable, and I’m pleased we are able to show our appreciation by providing this special payment.”
 
California Pizza Kitchen Thanks Our Nation’s Veterans
This Veterans Day, California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) is once again inviting our nation’s veterans and active U.S. military to enjoy a complimentary entree and beverage at all participating CPK locations nationwide in recognition of and gratitude for their service.

In addition, CPK will also be partnering with DAV (Disabled American Veterans) to host a nationwide fundraiser in its restaurants from November 8 to November 10 to support the nonprofit organization’s programs and services for veterans and their families.

To kick off Veterans Day week, CPK will be hosting a nationwide fundraiser in partnership with DAV from November 8 to November 10. During this time, CPK will donate 20% of food and beverage sales to benefit DAV, which has helped veterans and their families access vital programs and services by advocating for legislation, providing rides to veterans attending medical appointments, connecting veterans with meaningful employment and providing access to several other life-changing resources for over a century.
 
Redberry Restaurants Announces Agreement with Burger King Canada for Major Expansion
Redberry Restaurants announced an Area Development Agreement with Burger King Corporation to develop 50 new Burger King restaurants in Quebec and 15 new restaurants in Saskatchewan over the next five years. An additional 60 Burger King restaurants are scheduled for remodelling, which is more than half of the current Redberry-owned Burger King locations.

Redberry currently owns and operates 16 Burger King restaurants in Quebec, and more than 102 locations across Ontario and Manitoba. This newly inked Development plan would significantly expand Redberry’s existing footprint across Quebec and offers an important new development opportunity into Saskatchewan.
