Mohegan Sun Casino at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas officially opened the 60,000-square foot premium gaming venue to the public, welcoming invited guests, celebrities, locals and visitors to the newly reimagined casino-resort on March 25.

The evening kicked off with a ceremonial door unlocking with property executives, local officials, and Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment Interim CEO Ray Pineault and Mohegan Tribal Councilors Joe Soper and Ken Davison.  In traditional fashion, Tribal Councilors Joe Soper and Ken Davison presented a gift to Richard "Boz" Bosworth, President & CEO of JC Hospitality and owner of Virgin Hotels Las Vegas and Lou Serafini, President and Chief Executive Office of Fengate, including a hand-crafted Mohegan gourd, sweetgrass and a Mohegan blanket.
 
Jersey Mike's Donates ALL Sales to Local Charities on March 31
This Wednesday, March 31, Jersey Mike's Subs is giving a full day's sales — expected to approach $8 million — to charity. It's the sub company's 11th Annual Day of Giving when nearly 2,000 Jersey Mike's Subs restaurants nationwide will donate their resources and 100 percent of sales to help local organizations.

Day of Giving is the culmination of Jersey Mike's Month of Giving fundraising campaign in March, supporting more than 200 local charities across the nation. Partners include hospitals, youth organizations, food banks and more. As part of the campaign, Jersey Mike's has collected donations from customers all month. 10% of All U.S. Restaurants Have Closed Permanently Since the Pandemic
Datassential revealed that 10.2 percent of U.S. food establishments have closed permanently since the pandemic began, citing new data from the company's proprietary Firefly database released today.

Of the 778,807 food establishments in operation since the onset of COVID-19, 79,438 have closed for good as of Monday, according to the report from Datassential. The figure does include restaurants that have opened during the pandemic.

U.S. Postal Service Announces Changes to Delivery Time for Priority Mail Express
The United States Postal Service filed notice with the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) today seeking to transfer Bound Printed Matter (BPM) Parcels to the Competitive Product list, and simplifying the delivery time for Priority Mail Express (PME).

The changes to PME will take effect no earlier than May 23, 2021. The BPM Parcel change will take effect on a date yet to be determined, and is subject to approval by the PRC.
