IHOP Launches ‘Pancake Support’ to Guests Who Might Need a Pancake
IHOP launched its new creative campaign, “We Could All Use A Pancake,” which is designed to welcome guests back and celebrate IHOP’s strongly-held belief that those little circles of yumminess have the power to bring us together and put a smile on our faces – something we’ve all been missing over the past year.

To celebrate the new campaign, and the reopening of restaurants across the country, guests who could use a pancake are able to Tweet at @IHOP for Pancake Support with the hashtag #INeedPancakeSupport with stories from quarantine misadventures, work from home fails, funny mishaps or reasons why you just might need a pancake, in exchange for some free fluffy IHOP pancakes and other types of pancake giveaways.

Chick-fil-A’s Satisfaction Reign Reaches 7 Years, but its Lead Is Shrinking
Customer satisfaction with full-service and limited-service restaurants was already reeling before the pandemic turned both industries upside down. Yet, even in the face of billions of dollars in lost revenue, there’s reason to feel encouraged.

According to the American Customer Satisfaction Index Restaurant Study 2020-2021, the fast food category holds steadfast for customer satisfaction while full-service restaurants rebound a point. For the Accommodation and Food Services sector overall, satisfaction dips just 0.4% to a score of 77.6 on the ACSI’s 0-100 scale – a much-needed stabilization following the sector’s larger decline one year ago.

In Ohio, Kroger and Giant Eagle Offer DoorDash Gift Cards for Vaccinations
Winsightgrocerybusiness.com says as the pace of COVID-19 vaccinations across the country slows, Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine's office unveiled a new incentive—featuring two unlikely grocery collaborators—designed to get more shots in arms in the state.

On June 24, DeWine's office announced that select Ohio locations of Cincinnati-based Kroger and Pittsburgh-based Giant Eagle will offer $25 DoorDash gift cards from June 25-30 to those vaccinated at the grocery stores.
DeWine's office is engaged in a major push to vaccinate younger Ohioans, with outreach and vaccination clinics in progress at schools and through community organizations and pediatricians' offices throughout the state. Currently, all those ages 12 and up are eligible to be vaccinated. The DoorDash promotion, it's hoped, will encourage younger adults ages 18 to 26—who the White House this week noted have lower-than-desired vaccination rates—to roll up their sleeves.
