Discover Cardmembers Can Now Access Their Accounts Through Amazon Alexa
 
Discover recently announced that cardmembers can access their credit card accounts through Amazon Alexa. Account information available through Alexa includes recent transactions, available credit, current balance, rewards category information and payment due date. By saying “Alexa, open Discover,” customers who have linked their account to Alexa can access their information. “We are committed to providing our customers with valuable solutions that fit their routines, whether through our mobile app, on the web or with voice,” Shaida Lynch, vice president of e-business at Discover, said in a release. “As more consumers embrace voice-assisted technologies, like Alexa, to help manage various aspects of their lives, we’ll continue to provide solutions that meet our cardmembers’ needs wherever or however they prefer to manage their accounts.”
 
Dill & Parsley launches digital loyalty and mobile ordering
 
Dill & Parsley, the New York based fast-casual restaurants that feature fresh Mediterranean cuisine, recently launched a new digital loyalty and mobile ordering app. This replaces a previous loyalty program that was stamp-based, while the new mobile ordering system will debut in 2020. “We made a significant investment in order to keep up with consumer's ever-evolving restaurant tech expectations," Balahan Bobus, founder of Dill & Parsley, said in a company release. "Our enhanced online ordering system will integrate seamlessly with a robust digital loyalty program that puts us on the same playing field as the large chains."

Accor and AEG Extend Partnership with Global Assets Deal
 
Accor and AEG recently announced they have extended their partnership to a global deal that will incorporate several AEG and AEG-affiliated venues, festivals and events. Accor, a top hospitality group, will benefit from access to a global set of assets from AEG (a top sports and live entertainment company), including venue partnerships with Qudos Bank Arena Sydney and Barclaycard Arena Hamburg, ticketing rights with AEG Presents UK and AEG Presents Asia, and a festival partnership with American Express Presents BST Hyde Park that will showcase artists such as Taylor Swift, Pearl Jam, Little Mix, Pixies, and more.

Giant Introduces New Augmented Reality Experience in Harrisburg Area Stores
 
Customers at 15 Harrisburg, Pa., area GIANT Food stores can use their smartphones to play GIANT’s Snowflake Search, an augmented reality (AR) interactive game designed to engage and entertain children during their trip to the store. Customers also can earn up to 300 GIANT Choice Rewards points per game and a total of 1,500 points through January 30. GIANT believes it is the first web-based application of augmented reality in this capacity by a U.S. grocery retailer. “While other companies are using AR to provide information on products, GIANT is harnessing the technology to add fun to an everyday task,” the company said in a release.

Cokeva Achieves Phenomenal Customer Experience Score
 
Cokeva recently announced the results of their 2019 Net Promoter Score survey, a measure of customer experience and satisfaction. The company, which is an industry leader in repair, test and refurbishment of high-tech products, received a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 93. “We implement regular customer surveys to better understand our clients’ overall satisfaction,” said Ann Nguyen, President and CEO of Cokeva.  “Our survey covers quality, delivery, cost, responsiveness and relationship.” A key question in the survey is, “How likely are you (0-10) to recommend our company to your friends and colleagues?”
