Carnival Cruise Line Enhances Learn & Earn Program for Travel Advisors 

Carnival Cruise Line has announced enhancements to its Learn & Earn travel advisor training platform, which is part of the cruise line’s Loyalty Rocks! The new upgrades introduce more than 50 new video courses, covering a wide range of topics, including in-depth overviews of Carnival’s offerings, industry trends, and practical tools, such as social media training, aimed at helping advisors refine their expertise. 

Carnival Cruise Line’s Senior Director of Trade Marketing and Sales Communications, Meegan Broussard, said, “The travel industry, especially cruising, has experienced unprecedented growth in the past two years, and these updates to our training program will help travel advisors capitalize on the opportunity that growth presents. We’ve enjoyed a great amount of success together with our travel advisor partners, and our Learn & Earn courses are a great way of continuing to build toward more success for the future.” 

In addition to gaining valuable knowledge, travel advisors can also earn rewards. Each completed course earns double Loyalty Rocks! points and advisors receive a 50-point bonus upon completing the program. The points can be redeemed for gift cards, branded t-shirts, and other merchandise.

Macy's Brings Holiday Magic with Unique Customer Experiences and Unique Gifts 

For more than 160 years, Macy’s has brought cherished holiday traditions like whimsical window displays, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and fun shopping experiences. This year, Macy’s will feature a refreshed assortment of products across every category, along with exclusive brands and new partnerships. 

Macy’s Chief Marketing Officer Sharon Otterman said, “As we embrace the joy of the holiday season, Macy’s will once again be at the center of the moments that bring friends and family together. From timeless traditions to the best gifts, holidays at Macy’s are all about creating lasting memories. Macy’s will offer the best of the season, curating a list of the Top 100 Holiday Gifts for the entire family, ranging from beauty and fragrance sets from esteemed luxury brands like Valentino and Dior, cashmere sweaters, designer apparel, kitchen gifts to prepare holiday meals in, and a customer favorite, Macy’s 25 Beauty Advent Calendar. The iconic store is also introducing its first Holiday Square by Urbanspace at Herald Square in New York, which runs from November 1st, 2024, to January 3rd, 2025. The holiday market will bring together an immersive experience featuring more than 30 local businesses offering unique gifts, food, and beverages. Macy's ongoing partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters will also continue. From November 1 through December 24, patrons can round up at the registers and donate online to support youth mentorship. Finally, it wouldn’t be the holidays without Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade to usher in the season. The event will take place on November 28.

Pizza Hut Introduces Personal Pan Pizza Hut with Customizable Pizzas 

In celebration of National Pizza Month, Pizza Hut is introducing the Personal Pan Pizza Hut, inspired by its 6-inch Personal Pan Pizza®. Guests can personalize their pizzas with a fresh array of modern toppings. The Personal Pan Pizza Hut features a unique lineup of toppings introduced earlier this summer, including options like Pesto Swirl, Chicken Sausage, Spicy Sauce, Caramelized Onion, and Fresh Diced Garlic. With these tasty new flavors, guests can customize their Personal Pan Pizzas for a truly tailored dining experience.

The Personal Pan Pizza Hut takes pizza customization to a new level, inviting guests to book reservations for an intimate and personalized dining experience. The restaurant’s design is a nod to Pizza Hut’s classic aesthetics while embracing modern touches. The limited-time offering will be available for just two days in the New York City area, on October 22 and 23, 2024. Pizza lovers can secure a reservation through Pizza Hut's online platform starting October 17, with spots available on a first-come, first-serve basis. In addition to the in-person experience, Pizza Hut invites fans to engage on social media, sharing what makes the perfect Personal Pan Pizza.
