Hilton has introduced the Hilton AI Planner, a generative AI-powered digital concierge designed to help travelers explore destinations and plan stays across the company’s portfolio of hotels. Currently in beta testing on Hilton’s website, the tool reflects the growing use of AI in travel planning and aims to create a more intuitive and personalized booking experience.
The AI Planner uses conversational intelligence to guide travelers through the entire planning journey. Instead of relying solely on traditional search filters, users can describe what they’re looking for, such as a beach getaway, and receive real-time recommendations for destinations, hotels, and amenities. The tool can also help guests compare properties, explore available features, and refine travel options through an interactive chat-style interface.
Hilton says the tool is designed to streamline travel planning by delivering curated recommendations and immediate responses, making the discovery process faster and more intuitive. The beta launch will initially be available to a limited portion of site visitors, with broader access expected as the technology evolves and the company gathers feedback from early users.
As more travelers turn to AI tools for trip research and inspiration, Hilton plans to take a “test-and-learn” approach to refining the platform. Insights gathered from real user behavior and feedback will help the company enhance the system over time, allowing the AI Planner to better personalize recommendations and simplify travel planning for future guests.
