PetSmart released its first annual corporate social responsibility (CSR) report showcasing the brand’s efforts to love and learn from pets. The report — called A World Through Their Eyes — provides insights into PetSmart’s CSR initiatives from the perspective of the pets they serve.
The report focuses on three main areas:
Healthy & Happy Pets
Investments into training associates, supporting local charities, and providing veterinary care for communities
Investments into diverse suppliers, adding 10,000 hours paid volunteer time, doubling financial support through the PetSmart Associate Assistance Foundation
Reducing energy use, diverting waste in stores, reducing 1.4 million shipping miles
