The Orlando Magic launched a new loyalty initiative in their app. The Fan Achievement and Rewards program will award digital badges and mementos for various interactions with the NBA team through in-person and digital events, purchases, and using the Magicvision Mobile second-screen experience.
The Fan Achievement and Rewards program gives members a commemorative ticket for attending home games. The ticket is the Magic’s first step toward NFTs and digital token, providing fans with an exclusive and customizable digital asset they can share on social media. The tickets also include stats and matchup data from the game attended.
“The Orlando Magic’s long-term investment in data and analytics has always been focused on better understanding fans and using insights to improve our digital products and provide enhanced fan experiences,” says Jay Riola, Magic Executive Vice President of Strategy and Innovation. “Our badge program delivers fans with a personalized and data-driven experience that recognizes and rewards them for their affinity while encouraging even deeper engagement with the team.”
