The Home Depot Teams Up with Walmart GoLocal to Enhance Local Delivery Capabilities
 
Two of the world’s leading retailers are working together to expand same-day and next-day delivery capabilities for home improvement customers in the U.S. With Walmart GoLocal, The Home Depot customers have another option for same-day or next-day delivery on a variety of home improvement products.
 
“The Home Depot is continuously working to give customers the most convenient shopping experience in home improvement, and that includes providing a wide range of fast and reliable delivery options,” said Stephanie Smith, senior vice president of supply chain for The Home Depot. “This partnership brings us even closer to our goal of offering same-day or next-day delivery to 90 percent of the U.S. population.”
 
Impressive Third Quarter Growth Underscores Momentum for Smoothie King
 
After a record breaking second quarter which brought a company milestone of 34% same-store sales increase, Smoothie King experienced a 5% sales increase in the third quarter of 2021 on top of an extraordinary 14.8% sales increase in the third quarter over. The brand ended the third quarter positive 18% year-to-date. Further solidifying its position as the leader in the smoothie category, Smoothie King opened 21 new stores for the quarter, totaling 92 new-store openings year-to-date. In addition to strong sales numbers, the brand has welcomed 26 new domestic franchisees this year and signed 158 domestic store commitments to date.

The first 7-Eleven® store in India is set to open Saturday, Oct. 9, in Mumbai, India's largest city and the country's economic powerhouse. Opened by 7-India Convenience Retail Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Reliance Retail Ventures Limited (RRVL), this 7-Eleven store offers residents and tourists the world's largest convenience retailer's unique style of convenience, signature food and drinks, as well as products and delicacies especially created to appeal to the local market.
 
Mumbai is a city of superlatives and the ideal location for the first Indian store from the world's largest convenience retailer. It is India's financial and commercial hub, home to the Bollywood film industry and one of the top 15 wealthiest cities in the world. Mumbai is also home to Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), the largest publicly traded company in India. RRVL, through its wholly owned subsidiary, 7-India Convenience Retail Limited, holds the master franchise agreement with 7-Eleven, Inc. to operate stores in Greater Mumbai.
