PetSmart Launches Franchised Veterinary Services
PetSmart is launching PetSmart Veterinary Services, an independent business ownership model that offers veterinarians an opportunity to open a franchised practice within a store location, and connects pet owners with veterinarians and vet hospital locations within PetSmart stores.
The goal is to boost the number of veterinary medical practices and make it possible for veterinarians to be independent business owners. PVS will provide each practice owner with built-in resources for marketing, information technology, construction, training, reporting and ongoing consultation.
BurgerFi Expands Partnership with Gopuff
BurgerFi and Gopuff announced plans to expand the delivery of BurgerFi items on the Gopuff platform to more customers nationwide. In the coming months, Gopuff will begin delivering BurgerFi burgers and fries to customers in more than a dozen cities, including Miami, New York City, Nashville, and Philadelphia.
The new agreement will fully transition operations, food preparation and distribution to Gopuff's local teams and facilities. BurgerFi products will soon be available for delivery from more than 30 Gopuff Fresh Food Halls across the country, instantly expanding BurgerFi's national presence by leveraging Gopuff's local logistics network, teams and infrastructure.

Dave & Buster’s announced that the company is testing checkout-free convenience store technology. The Game & Go micromarket has opened in partnership with Zippin and Coca-Cola.
Dave & Buster’s has leaned into digital technology offerings like the brand’s mobile app which allows customers to pay, earn points, and activate games with their phone. Eventually, the convenience store’s automated checkout technology will be accessible via the Dave & Buster’s app.
