LGBTQ+ Travelers Lead in AI Adoption for Planning Travel Experiences
A recent survey by the traveler publisher Matador Network highlights that the LGBTQ+ community plans to use artificial intelligence (AI) or is open to using it to assist with planning their summer travel experiences. The LGBTQ+ travel market, valued at more than $200 billion globally, estimates that the LGBTQ+ community will spend nearly 10% of its purchasing power on travel. Almost two-thirds (62.1%) of LGBTQ+ travelers are open to AI technology to enhance their travels. The survey also showed that LGBTQ+ travelers are almost 16% more likely to have already utilized AI for travel and 25% more likely to plan to use AI for upcoming trips.
