Chick-fil-A Launches 80th Anniversary Campaign

Chick-fil-A has kicked off its largest marketing campaign in company history to commemorate its 80th anniversary, leaning into a theme it calls “Newstalgia”, a blend of nostalgia and fresh, modern touches designed to celebrate its heritage while engaging customers in new ways.

The initiative spans menu innovations, collectible branded merchandise, retro-inspired packaging, and broad advertising across TV and social channels as the brand seeks to strengthen customer loyalty amid broader restaurant traffic challenges.

Central to the campaign are collectible Classic Cups sold for $3.99 with retro designs drawn from Chick-fil-A’s archives, released every few weeks throughout the year. Among these, 3,000 Golden Fan Cups are randomly distributed nationwide and include prizes of free Chick-fil-A for a year. The company is also adding new permanent menu items like Frosted Sodas and Floats, inspired by classic soda fountain treats, and rolling out themed merchandise and plush cows.

Marcus Theatres is celebrating National Popcorn Day on January 19, by offering a free large popcorn to every moviegoer who purchases a ticket at any of its 78 Marcus Theatres or Movie Tavern® locations nationwide.

In addition to the complimentary popcorn, Marcus Theatres plans to host popcorn-themed activities and games at theatres to engage guests of all ages, including creative and interactive offerings like popcorn jewelry making and bingo. Moviegoers will also receive a scratch-off card with each ticket purchase that can be redeemed between February 1 and February 28, 2026, for a variety of concession rewards such as free combos, beverages, candy, and more.

Marcus Theatres frames this celebration as both a fun way to honor a long-standing movie tradition and a gesture of appreciation toward its customers. The company also has ongoing value offerings, such as free popcorn on Value Tuesdays for loyalty club members, as part of its broader effort to make theatre visits enjoyable and affordable.

CAVA Unveils Its Biggest Menu Expansion Ever to Kick Off 2026

CAVA is launching what it calls the largest menu rollout in the company’s history as it ushers in 2026 with a refreshed and expanded Mediterranean-inspired lineup. The update introduces two new high-protein curated bowls: the Spicy Lamb + Sweet Potato Bowl and the Harissa Chicken Power Bowl, that feature bold flavors and hearty ingredients designed to appeal to health-minded consumers.

A centerpiece of the launch is the return of the fan-favorite white sweet potato, which originally appeared as a seasonal item and has been reinstated due to popular demand. Besides the two new bowls, CAVA is adding four other items: Sumac Sour Cream + Onion Pita Chips, a Tangerine Aleppo seasonal drink, a new Power Greens base option, and Sumac Slaw. The expanded menu is available at CAVA locations nationwide and through its digital channels.
