Key takeaways:

  • Travelers can save work-trip preferences, including amenities, ratings, cancellation options, and nightly-rate limits.

  • Quick Rebook helps travelers return to preferred hotels in just a few clicks.

  • Eligible business stays earn rewards that members can use toward future travel, including leisure trips.

Hotels.com has launched a new business travel experience designed to make booking and managing work trips faster and more personalized. Available globally on the Hotels.com website and app where supported, the experience lets self-booking business travelers switch into a dedicated business mode, save preferences such as refundable rates, breakfast, gym access, hotel ratings and maximum nightly rates, and see hotel results tailored to those needs. Quick Rebook also makes it easier to return to a preferred hotel, while 24/7 customer support gives travelers help when plans change.

The launch comes as work travel continues to pick up. Hotels.com research found that 37% of Americans surveyed say they travel for work more frequently now than before the COVID-19 pandemic, with complimentary breakfast, loyalty rewards and flexible check-in and check-out among the features business travelers value most. Hotels.com members can earn rewards on eligible work stays for future travel, including personal trips, while features such as fully refundable stay filters, member discounts and VIP Access perks are designed to bring more flexibility and value to business bookings.

Why it matters:

  • 37% of Americans surveyed by Hotels.com report traveling for work more often than before the pandemic.

  • Saved preferences, flexible-stay filters, and Quick Rebook can reduce the friction involved in arranging frequent work trips.

  • Travelers can manage both in one Hotels.com account and use eligible rewards earned through business travel toward future personal trips.
